Alvion or Alvion De Halenrus is one of the many lore important characters in Zee Bawx, With him being the Archmage of the main story's area, Azrone.
Alvion, despite what his model suggests, is a white blonde spotted rabbit. In most modern iterations, his ears are rotated back. In his younger years, his hair was black, though due to his age it is now white, along with a short chin beard. He wears a blue mage robe, with a belt that has a golden lion's head with a blue gem in its mouth on it, plus four red gemstones. He wears bulky cuffs with a red gem on each cuff. Finally, he wears the Halenrus seal on his left eye, which itself is ruptured with scarring.
Born in the back of a Gypsy Caravan, he would live alongside his family, with his mother, Yurri, and father, Ardor, splitting when he was young. At the age of 3 his mother left him abandoned in the outskirts of a small village to pursue her own adult activities with a group of nomads — He would be adopted by a small couple shortly after. With a roof over his head he started to get inspired by the mages around him wanting to be just like them. Unlike most of the beastfolk he had a special blessing that allowed for him to exert more mana than normal, allowing him to do much more in his magical endeavors. Around the age of 13 he would enroll into a school all about magic taking place within the kingdom of Azrone itself, learning and perfecting his craft for 15 years despite the doubt of his Valian peers.
At the age of 25 he overthrew the kingdom's Archmage, allowing him being accepted into Arzone's mage council afterwards for his final years of learning. For the next couple of years he constantly passed his limitations for magic — being seen as the most powerful mage of the time, becoming also a popular political figure constantly fighting for the rights of his fellow beasts within Azrone and the Mages College. By his 60's he would meet the Princess of Azrone, Adelina. Despite their large age gap (48 years) they would date for five years until her father King Roy would approve Adelina to be wedded to Alvion, calling for a thirteen year long marriage.
During their time together, Adelina and Alvion adopted a young tiger cub named Lucy. A couple years later, Alvion laid with the Grand Mistress of the Krystaious Church to have a surrogate daughter by the name of Molly, as him and Adelina couldn't have a child with each other. He took great care of them, punishing slavers to death and fighting with the schools if it was for the protection of his daughters. Though despite how his life was going at the time it eventually led to tragedy.
During a dispute with Azrone and Tekkerdon, King Roy would be assassinated and Adelina would anger the rivalling nation, the seers of the college warned of a Great War that would lead to the deaths of thousands. This led Alvion to study the dark arts in an attempt to prevent the war, causing permanent damage to his left eye and causing him to be damned to the Void. When war struck, he had to say goodbye to Adelina and his daughters. He was one of the greatest soldiers on the fields, taking out thousands of enemy combatants.
Though this wouldn't be without cost, as one night while the children were sleeping safely, Adelina was brutally dismembered after a night raid occurred ending in a ballista bolt being fired, causing Alvion's emotional state to plummet after failing to revive her. He would send Lucy to a neighboring kingdom to ensure her safety, and keep Molly with the church. Despite his horrible mental state he kept up a happy face in order to not cause distress to those around him, leading to the end of the horrific war.
After the war he would be socially out-casted, as while he was the one to lead the victory for Azrone his use of dark magic and damnation were seen as signs of blasphemy. He calmed down on his position as Archmage, using the rest of his time taking care of Lucy and Molly, writing books for future mages — personal stories as warnings to those who may themselves become Archmages. Despite harassment from the Valian people, he didn't care as long as his daughters were safe and happy. Though unexpectedly on a lone-full night, he would pass from a worsening heart condition caused by his tainted corrupted soul, leaving his daughters alone without any goodbye.
At the age of 14, Alvion had started learning the magical arts, eventually dwelling into dark magic and accidently binding his soul with the Dark God, Darkious. He later met princess Adelina, vowing to protect her from any evil that came in their wake. A couple years later Darkious assassinated the King and Queen, leading to Alvion assigning himself the duty to find a way to kill Darkious, after Krystaious refused to help the people herself for allowing the King to be slain.
Alvion was banished from the land, and on a picnic Adelina and Alvion would be fighting off bandits and picking berries. As the Dark Ring started to cover the sun, Darkious took over Alvion's tainted body as his host and burnt down all of Pareal, leaving only Adelina alive. After this, Pervard would intervene and he went missing for 30 years, Adelina never hearing from him again.
Somehow, even after his soul had been corrupted by Darkious, a part of his soul still contained light. As the Valian people were about to be slaughtered, his spirit would call to them, promising their salvation, but that their protection would have to be all up to them. He would send back his darker half, Noivla, back to the Void, and peace was brought back to Val.
As Lucas was passed out after his wish to Kiyomi, Alvion would pick up his limp body and take him to a ship vessel he owned. Him and his colonel would nurse Lucas back to health, and equip Lucas and the gang with laser rifles, all going back to the divide. They would learn that Spectra, the Titan who had helped them throughout their journey was the true mastermind of the THEM invasion, turning into a fierce lindwyrm called the Spectral Demoniac. Admiral Headcannon would join the group as backup with his fleet, and they would all come together to fight Spectra. Spectra, nearing defeat would kill Robot, a long time ally of the group. Lucas was devastated, about to mourn when Alvion put his hand on Lucas' shoulder telling him to keep going as Robot “wasn't important". When all was said and done, Spectra would be banished back to Limbo, and peace would be brought back to Imagina once more.
