The Corruption Event (Also known as the Alvion Update) was the first ever event in Zee Bawx, taking place from May 7th, 2012 to August 21st, 2012, nearing the end of Zee Bawx 1.0.
After the assassination of the Queen and her Husband, everything would fall apart. Alvion had already bound part of his soul with Darkious, trying to prevent Adelina's death as seen by the Seer. Lucy would try to calm her adoptive father, telling him to open up to her and not forgetting who he truly was. He would shortly die afterwards unexpectedly, never telling Lucy goodbye.
When Alvion had perished, his soul with the tainting of Darkious had turned him into a godly being within the Void, this being would refer to himself as, "Noivla", the King of the Corruptives. The only issue being that now, he would have to escape, having to search for a Dark Gate. Adelina would fear the fate of her children and the now unstable kingdom of Aronze. Alexius, her godmother, would assure her everything was alright, and that it will be up to time and fate to decide what would happen next.
After several hurdles and soul searching, the King of Corruptives would exit the Void, Corruption would spread all around Val. As corruption spread further with no stop, the grass would start to discolor into an ugly brown. Mutants, such as Necromorphs and Differences would start to appear, causing havoc. Corruptives and Harbringers ravaging cities with no remorse. A mutant by the name of Calirondus, who had been recently abandoned by their mother would call to Krystaious, with her and EXILE trying to quickly figure out how to fix everything.
In the end, the people of Val were in shambles, begging for mercy from Noivla. As the Legend and gang started to tremble giving up hope, a familiar voice echoed to them. Somehow, someway, the light from Alvion's soul would live on as an alternate being, separate of Darkious. Promising to save all the townsfolk, though that he would not be able to protect them after the fact. A surge of light would wipe through the world of Val, banishing his corrupted half back to the Void where it belonged, and balance was restored.
As Zee Bawx was such a small game at the time, anytime a server started with the event currently active. GMD would join, allow people to claim the Shadowy Presence badge, and then trigger the event's ending cutscene. On some occasions, GMD and her brother Chrysamere would fight it out by equipping themselves with tools (GMD being darkness, and Chrys being light).
The event was the first introduction of the Become system, albeit only exclusive to GMD herself. The event also had its own suits that GMD could spawn in, these would allow players to play as: The Robed Man, Sad Dream, Bad Dream, the Sand God, the Necromorph, the Difference, A Bunnyess, Calirondus, Krystaious, GMB A 1-999999, Survivor Lucy, or if players didn't want to play as any of them, have a noob on their head.
