Djinn are one of the many species that inhabit Valian lore and appear in Zee Bawx as one of the many custom species people could play and customize as. They are genie-like beings that grant wishes for the people who summon them.
Djinn are typically about one to two feet tall, each djinn having a slightly different primary fur color depending on the sin, adjective, or noun they represent. Most if not all Djinn (no matter the type) wear some sort of jewelry whether they be golden arm bands, rings, or even cookies! They have long mouse-like snouts, can bare one or more tails, and usually have mouse-like ears with a three bumped heart-like shape. They also have slightly different appearances depending on their gender.
Created by man through the manipulation of mana and blood seals, the Djinn served to be servants to man by either granting his wishes for him or allowing man to project his sins onto them. Anytime a Djinn disobeyed or started delving too much into their sin, their owners would punish them by scratching or dunking their seal into water, causing great pain to the Djinn. Djinn that became too sinful would have to be killed completely.
The Djinn's seals were created to both summon and protect them from either wishing their lifeforce away or from god-like beings such as the Titans, Primals, and Prime Gods attempting to destroy them. If a Djinn wanted to be free from their seal, they must locate it and scratch it to see if its theirs, only then can they safely dispose of the seal and free themselves from enslavement. The few Djinn that have managed to escape have made their own civilizations; Malilion (The Capital), Drevcorn, and Sadorn.
Long time ago, Djinn were property of man, like a personal toy in which they can resort to whenever they're bored, for whatever dark purposes he desires. But as a Djinn delves further into its sin, it will turn Sinful. For this, Man would keep the seal close, so that when his Djinn goes Sinful, he can easily kill it, and then replace it with a new one. If Djinn would disobey, they would receive torture by their owner. Slightly damaging the Seal, either putting it under light water, or scratching it with a coin, would bring great pain to it's Djinn. Only a few managed to escape that life by stealing their seal and breaking it, others were never so lucky.
Djinn are not suppose to exist. We are an exploitation of magic built by man, so that they can fuel their sins. To make us, to keep us from the harm of the elder gods, we must be sealed through this marking. The Blood Seal. If tampered, a Djinn will be obliterated. Cruel as it be, the magical properties of the Seal protect it and the Djinn from cosmic interference, so the Djinn cannot wish the Seal away, nor even the blessing of God. The only method of freedom is finding their seal, scratching it to see if it inflicts pain, that means it is theirs.. and then destroying the formation of the Seal.
Zee Bawx had many different Djinn variations, These could be accessed through either Gamepasses, Gamepass T-Shirts, Winning Contests, or for Free when joining the game.
These Djinn come from the Extra Djinni T-Shirt, these are based on more either a specific theme, or an adjective or noun. (Some might not have their general features recorded, along with not being fully archived)
These Djinn were either available during a certain Holiday, or made free.
These Djinn were given to specific people after winning the 2016 Djinn drawing contest.
Elements are particle effects you can choose for your Djinn right before you become them, Many of these require the same requirements as their Djinn Type counterparts.
When becoming a Djinn, you would get a lamp gear which served two functions that could assist you or other players in the server. The Wishing Function, and the Djinn House function.
When a Djinn had their lamp gear equipped, you could click on the lamp to make a wish. These wishes would be based on the Djinn you were wishing from, typically benefitting either the player themselves or the server as a whole. You were also able to pledge to the demons of the Djinn and choose from a “darker set of wishes”, which were different to regular wishes and had a consequence linked to them.
Players were limited to 1 wish per server.
While playing as a Djinn by right clicking while holding out the lamp, you could go inside of it and invite others to join you. While in the lamp you could decorate your house with props using the propable tool.
