Animaions are one of the many species that inhabit Zee Bawx and Val, being the second prominent species in the likeness of Lord Vanious' beautiful beasts.

Physical Attributes

The Animaions are anthropomorphic animals, based on the animals on Earth rather than the animals of Val. There are 10 different subspecies an Animaion can be, being the Kanaan (Canis), Vasnaril (Felidae), Lagorum (Rodents & Lagomorph), Ottsel (Mustelidae), Ursinar (Ursidae, Ailuridae & Marsupials), Pelagorum (Fish & Ocean Mammals), Volaril (Birds), Sauraril (Reptiles), Chitinorum (Insects, Arachnids, Crustaceans, Mollusks, & Myriapods), and Boreaan. While each kind of Animaion has different lifespans, they all share the primary trait of not being as mana potent as their Valian counterparts.

Lore

Created when a group of 15 hunters had attempted to hunt the Silires for sport, Vanious would create them knowing that the Valians would enslave them; Using this as punishment for what they had done. Despite this, the Animaions would start having more care for the forests, and would regularly co-exist with the Vyxn, despite them constantly being jealous of each other. This led to Vanious forgiving the newer generations of Animaions and feeling bad for them, as they had not done anything unlike their ancestors. He would give them refuge in the forests, which created tribes of wildings, who would constantly fight back against Valian oppression. Vanious would also aid the Animaions by making his beasts turn on Valian slave traders who attempted to enslave the wilding tribes.

As Valians started travelling more with their Animaions, they'd notice that their kin would adapt to the environment, creating a new subcategory of them. These Animaions would be seen as exotics, and would be bred for the sole purpose of Valian slave traders getting more coin. The Kingdom of Azrone would abolish the slave trade early in its lifespan, leading it to be a target of underground Animaion trafficking. The Kingdom of Tekkerdon on the other hand, while once having loose slave laws, would start a mass capturing of Animaions, even if they were already legally seen as citizens.

Canon Subclasses of Animaion

  • Kanaan - Being based on canines (Dogs, Wolves, Foxes, Hyenas, ect.), they typically live for 40 - 50 years, have a mana potency of 15%, and usually range from 4'0 - 9'0 feet. They will typically have litters of up to 6 pups, with less pups for bigger subspecies. They are primarily enslaved as bodyguards and scouts.
  • Vasnaril - Being based on felines (Housecats, Big Cats, ect.), they typically live for 50 - 60 years, have a mana potency of 10%, and usually range from 4'0 - 8'0 feet. They will typically have litters of kittens and cubs, with less for bigger subspecies. They are primarily enslaved as farmers and scouts.
  • Lagorum - Being based on Rabbits, Hares, and Rodents, they typically live for 20 - 50 years, have a mana potency of 10%, and usually range from 3'8 to 6'0 feet. They will typically have litters of bunnies, with them being the most common of the Animaion (and the most frown upon due to their more public intimate displays). They are primarily enslaved as farmers and mail carriers.
  • Ottsel - Being based on mustelids (Otters, Weasels, Badgers), they typically live for 20 - 50 years, have a mana potency of 15%, and usually range from 3'0 - 5'0 feet. They will typically have litters of up to 3 pups, with less pups for bigger subspecies. They are primarily enslaved as fishermen and construction.
  • Ursinar - Being based on bears, red pandas, and koalas, their exact lifespans, mana potency and typical heights aren't exactly known.
  • Pelagorum - Being based on fish (Primarily Sharks) and ocean mammals (Whales, Orcas, ect.), their exact lifespans, mana potency and typical heights aren't exactly known.
  • Volaril - Being based on birds, their exact lifespans, mana potency and typical heights aren't exactly known.
  • Sauraril - Being based on reptiles, their exact lifespans, mana potency and typical heights aren't exactly known.
  • Chitinorum - Being based on creatures with exoskeletons, their exact lifespans, mana potency and typical heights aren't exactly known.
  • Boreaan - Being based on yetis, their exact lifespans, mana potency and typical heights aren't exactly known.
