The Primals are a set of deities created by Salcandoran for the sole purpose of controlling their elements when the Universe started. After the parting of Salcandoran and Solar Pyre, along with the creation of the first civilizations in Val, many of the Primals went rouge and attempted to usurp Salcandoran. In retaliation, Salcandoran created the Enta to rehabilitate or capture the Primals.

In newer rewrites of Valian Lore some Titans were converted into Primals for the sake of simplifying the deity hierarchy. Some Primals may also be scrapped and/or completely rewritten from their Zee Bawx counterparts.
