The Golden Gate is a small location in Zee Bawx, being a hidden and locked passageway for Zee Bawx's ending. This was added in late 2.0 after the retirement of the Island Turtle.
Physical Information
Hidden within Imagina's snowy mountain, the Golden Gate is a gold and blue gate surrounded by fourteen golden pillars, seven on each side, with six ribs coming out the golden flooring. The door is between two pillars with three locks on each pillar, each hinting to a key that's required to proceed behind the door.
Keys
The Golden Gate has six keys, many of which were planned to be obtainable through the cancelled Explorers of Imagina update, some may be unknown due to this.
Granite Key
Needed the Explorers of Imagina pack to access, the player would access the Light Rift and grab it from a statue right in front of the player. The method after Explorers of Imagina's removal however is unknown.
Stone Key
The Stone Key had four spawn areas it could appear in;
- On the second layer and first row of the snowy mountain, near Ashe's Piano.
- Outside the entrance to the snowy mountains inner lake.
- On a lump of sand at the left corner of the beach.
- On the mountain slant on the right side of the beach's entrance.
Ebony Key
Achieved after completing the Void Rift obstacle course, at a ledge near the staircase.
Fabric Key
Repairing Ashe's teddy bear through the sewing machine inside the mountain. The head can be found far right of the snowy mountain, just right at the world's boarder — the limbs can be found out of bounds at the end of the beach's boarder, where the player must do a small obby to grab them — and the body can be found in Ashe's torment where the player must say "Grimdark" as Ashe, after entering the area the player can go behind the upper left pillar to find the body.
Sand Key
Can only be gained through going up to a Djinn and using the player's one wish per server to wish for it.
Glass Key
A special item only achievable through a Loot Rain or Consumable Vendor. After getting the key a player will have it in their propable, in which the player can spawn it and step on it to get the key. Only one person could have the key from the propable.
Ending
There are two known versions of Zee Bawx's ending, one from 2016 and the other from sometime later on. No matter the version the player encounters however, they will see the same basic things. As the player enters the gate, they are given "The End" Badge and a voice congratulates them for their efforts, telling them that for 4 - 6 years players have been wandering aimlessly for an ending. The voice announces an end to anymore major Zee Bawx updates, though promising one final lore update regarding an unknown entity for a more proper ending. The voice tells the player that it's proud of them, and then the credits play thanking everyone who had contributed to Zee Bawx.
