The Corruption is a Concept introduced in Zee Bawx through Valian Lore. Corruption is the physical manifestation of Dark Mana; A dark acidic goop that burns through the light in resistance to the Holy Primal, Krystaious. Corruption may also take form as an illness, as those who damn their souls to the Void will eventually cease from it, with it taking the form of purple tentacles that slowly suffocate a person until their demise.

Corruption may also take control over species made of pure mana, such as Enta and Djinn; Turning once pure hearted beings into violent savages that must be contained within isolated areas, for fear that it may spread. Through artifacts as well, it may corrupt a person without a soul to their name.

There are many forms that the corruption takes, such as the Corrotaevs, Nightmares, and Darklings.

The war against the Void and Krystaious rages on.
